Reaching ocean park is not so easy job. Or it appears "not so easy" to the people staying in Hong Kong island may be merely because of the convenient travel facilities like Tram and MTR.
The night before I visited Ocean Park, I along with two of my Indian friends went to "the peak" in Hong Kong. "Peak", as the name suggests is the highest altitude point in Hong Kong from where you get a panoramic view of Hong Kong city. It was chilling cold outside and I, to show off my rebelness, went without sweater. It was very cold with wind blowing at great speeds at the peak. We posed for photos, took some photos for others and came back to home by "peak tram" ( a train which runs between the peak and the city).
I was disappointed after loading the photos into computer to see that they are not of very good quality. I happened to buy a new camera that day morning and my first photo session was at peak. It turned out to be dark and the camera didn't really have best features to capture photos in the dark, a fact that i realized later, repented for a while and learnt to live with after speaking to the sales person from Broadway (electronics retail chain from where i bought the camera)who taught me how to appreciate the existing features in the camera.

a thrill from the peak :)
After some hard enjoyment at the peak, our plan was to visit Ocean park the next day morning at 10AM. the plan seemed perfect on paper (in mind rather!, since we never put it on paper), but no one woke up early in the morning. I was the last to getup from bed at 11AM and i had to guide my Indian friends to ocean park. I searched on Internet and gave them the direction to reach ocean park, which they followed and reached by 12 noon. I could make it to the park only at 2PM, and by then they had already tried the raging river ride.
The first thing i tried in the ocean park was the roller coaster. the best thing about this roller coaster is the location its situated at - next to the sea. At some point in the ride, you soar over the sea.
